By accessing or using MetriNote ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
MetriNote is a trading journal application designed to help traders track their trades, analyze their performance, and improve their trading psychology. The Service includes features such as trade logging, analytics, MetriScore calculations, pre-market checklists, and accountability tools.
To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and verify your phone number via SMS. Phone verification is required to start your free trial and helps prevent abuse. You agree to:
New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. The trial begins after phone verification is complete.
After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. MetriNote offers monthly ($25/month) and annual ($225/year) billing options. All plans include full access to every feature.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current rate for your plan. You will be charged through your selected payment method. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through the Manage Billing portal in your profile.
The first 100 subscribers receive founding member pricing at $20/month (or $180/year), locked for the lifetime of their subscription. "Locked for life" means the founding rate will not increase as long as the subscription remains continuously active. If a founding member cancels and resubscribes within 30 days, they retain their founding rate. After 30 days, founding status is forfeited and the standard rate applies. Founding member numbers are assigned in order and are never reassigned.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Billing portal. Upon cancellation, you retain full access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account enters a read-only state where you can view and export your data but cannot add new trades or use active features.
Monthly subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of any billing cycle. Annual subscribers may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Refund requests should be sent to support@metrinote.com. In cases of accidental duplicate charges or technical billing errors, contact us for an immediate resolution.

You retain ownership of all trading data and content you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. While we take precautions to protect your data, we are not liable for any data loss.
MetriNote is not financial advice. The Service is a journaling and analytics tool. We do not provide investment advice, trading recommendations, or financial guidance.
Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results. The analytics, statistics, and MetriScore provided by the Service are for informational purposes only and should not be the sole basis for any trading decisions.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetriNote and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or trading losses, arising from your use of the Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MetriNote from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
